Review of Waverley motor group

I visited the Waverley Motor Group yesterday early afternoon to test drive a vehicle I had made an enquiry earlier online and agreeded to an purchase price. During the inspection the sales person was very accomodating with all my questions. Upon completing the test drive I asked the salesperson if I could engage RACV to provide me a mechanical report on the vehicle (for peace of mind) and this was no issue and infact I was re-assured that all vehicles underwent a rigorous mechanical inspection. I left the dealership and started searching for a RACV inspection. Late next morning I rang the salesperson to ask if I could have until the end of the day to sort out the RACV inspection as I was having issues in locking in someone promptly. Much to my surprise I was advised that the vehicle was sold late in the same afternoon I had visited. I asked the sales person why he didnt call me and alerted me to this considering I interested in the vehile. the response was that I would have received an email from Car Sales advising me that the vehicle was sold. I'm quite confident there will be another opportunity but extremely disappointed that in this day in age, we still have businesses operating with no regard to customer courtesy.
