This is a review of the communal baths that can be reserved for $25 for up to 3 hours.Pro/Con: It's silent. No talking. I learned the hard way when I tried to whisper with my friend and a lady hit the gong as her way of telling us to be quiet...oops.Pro/Con: You'll be naked. Everyone else is naked, too. (Except on co-ed Tuesdays.)
Pro/Con: There's not much to do except sit in a hot dry room, go to a hot wet room, sit in a hot tub, or dip your body in the ice cold tub and internally scream. And repeat.This experience isn't for everyone, but for me, this is a great way to relax every few months ago and I love going with my girlfriends. One of these days I'll splurge on an actual service (facial/massage) as well! Kabuki is an oasis in the middle of the city.
