Over a month ago I have Matt come by my house. Just to get him there was interesting itself. When asked to contact me before arrival, nothing - silence. He showed up and stated he rang the door bell, even though I stated to call me, then left. After reschedule, I asked for a call again. Nothing, he just showed up. Then called after noticing we were not home. Thankfully, I was arriving as he called. Professional during the visit. But it is now over a month. No quote. I was told it was because the supplier was on vacation. Pretty long vacation. So, to give them a shot still, I emailed Lindsay multiple times. Here is her response, "Let me check in with Matt. I m sorry that you haven t received it yet. I do know our supplier has been on vacation." I gave it about a week, no response. So a week goes by, I email again. Here is the response I get, "let me message Matt and see what s going on. I m so sorry about all of this. We did have some family sickness the past couple of weeks with stomach viruses and sinus infections and it also got our kids unfortunately so we ve been recovering from that off and on while our crew works. I will double check with Matt." I feel for the sickness part as I was battling COVID during the wait on the quote. So I also called and no one picked up, so I left a message. All I got was the above email back. So I will move on to someone that wants my money and is willing to work with me and communicate properly to the buyer. BTW: it was a simple stair project.
