I had just come from another ice cream shop displeased by their terrible ice cream. I was hoping to get a another one at a different, but decent, ice cream shop. However, upon 'first lick' of my mint ice cream I was disappointed to discover that it tasted like Colgate's well-reputed 'anti cavity fast action' mint toothpaste. Whilst fresh breath and absence of cavities are important to me, I don't consider ice cream consumption as part of my daily dental hygiene routine (quite the opposite, in fact). At first the staff brushed me off, but after some badgering, and a confirmative taste test themselves, they were kind enough to let me have a replacement cookie dough ice cream free of charge, although it still wasn't great, either. This happened in June in 2017 and I will never forget this day.
