Classes and facilities are excellent, but chronic management problems continue to lead to unreliability in scheduling, frequent down-times for pools and whirlpool, and unavailability of some program areas. Poor pay and a reputation as a difficult employer makes it hard to hire lifeguards and program staff. Roof over the gym/track leaks and has for years. Money is lavished in some areas, while basic equipment for other programs deteriorates into unusability.
