After visiting plenty of Tattoo Shops around the Wirral to find someone suitable to combine what i already had with something new, i was left deflated and unconvinced as they didnt seem to understand what i wanted and would attempt to show me designs from books that could just go around my original tattoo. Then i stumbled across Nomad Ink ( Lewis ). Like all the other shops i spat out a chain of ideas and requests. At the time Lewis physically started jotting them all down, reviewed the list and straight away said i can do that, but it will have to be free hand drawn onto the skin. Booked! Instantly. From that moment i was sold. From the 1st session to the 3rd i learned a valuable lesson i hadnt with my other 7 tattoo's. Lewis is an artist. The art, the physical drawing that is going onto your skin comes from him. Hes a perfectionist that goes out of his way to prepare and ensure what you ask for is right. Now understandably not all designs are free hand drawn onto the skin, it was just the particular design i asked for, but by god Lewis coped with my constant movement and wanting to look and he got it spot on. Before a single scratch i was made to look and made to make sure i was happy more than twice over. The 3 sessions, 20hours in all was 2nd to non! Sweets and films to keep me going, when the film marathon was over the chat was just as good, Lewis was very humble and welcoming as was Sophie and Jo. If its your 1st tattoo or your 30th i reccomend you go and pop into Nomad Ink before you go anywhere else .
