I recently visited a hotel in the Douro Valley and had a wonderful experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the views of the river were breathtaking. The food at the restaurant was delicious and the spa treatments were pure luxury. I highly recommend this hotel.
