Lotte Chemical is the only chemical plant supplying PTA to the local synthetic yarn manufacturers in Pakistan.
Built at a cost of over 400 million dollars by ICI Pakistan it is now owned by the Korean Lotte conglomerate.
A very well managed organization among the top contributors to the Federal tax department. It is quoted on the Karachi Stock Exchange and is a public limited company. It has high safety standards at the plant and the company is doing a lot to reduce the pollutants that are emitted during production of PTA. Workers are well compensated and a fair price shop has been established for the staff and workers at the factory. The head office is located at Altijarah Centre Shahrahe Faisel.
