Wonderful for hiking and learning about birds at the same time. They've gotten more forward about asking for donations ($8 suggested per car) but I honestly don't mind for how great the animals are cared for and the fun I have here. I have several items from the gift shop too (owl coin purse, parrot mug, elephant face mask, snakes tee, long sleeved birds tee with all the avian residents of the sanctuary). It's not only for kids, as I don't have any and still really enjoy my time here.
