I would like to start off by saying I wish this was a more positive review. I visited this Ruth s Chris location this past Friday night. I had made a reservation for my friends birthday. The hosts were great and very friendly. We were seated, and given menus. Our server came and greeted us and that was probably the longest amount of time he spoke to us all night. We were not given a drink menu, and were treated like we didn t not belong there. I would also like point out the fact that the restaurant was not busy. We saw our waiter a max of three times. This is including the introduction as well as when we got our food. Besides being treated like we were 12 year olds, there was no warmth or hospitality at all from him. We also noticed that all of the other tables around us had their waiters/waitresses constantly visiting them. They were laughing, making jokes, and having an all around great time. In a normal restaurant, I would expect this type of service. But, being a repeat customer of Ruth s Chris, as well as the amount that I paid for the food. I expected a lot more. We did mention this to a server that passed by and she asked if we would like to speak to the manager, we agreed. After paying for the meal and leaving a tip, we waited, and waited. We finally decided to just leave. When we were making our way back up to our room at the Embassy. We recognized the manager out in the lobby. It s hard to run a restaurant when you re not actually in it. On a more positive note, the food is absolutely delicious. But, I would suggest a more inviting atmosphere and better waitstaff.
