We stayed at this hotel for a week. The journey was uncomplicated and our suitcases were carried for us by employees of the hotel. From Male we took a short domestic flight to another island and from there to the resort (took about 35 minutes in total).

The view from the speedboat to the island and the resort made our hearts beat faster. After arriving we were given a coconut to drink. All in all, the journey was very pleasant.

We had booked a garden villa. The latter are on the east side of the island behind the beach villas. The bungalows are not particularly attractive from the outside, but they are very well maintained and tidy. There is nothing to complain about here. The island itself is generally well maintained. The food is a bit monotonous, but tastes very good (a lot of curry, beef, fish and poultry).

The area around the pool is very nice and you always get a lounger and something to drink quickly. The latter is probably due to the fact that most beach villa residents use their loungers on their stretch of beach.

I can say about the beach villas that, in our opinion, they are only partially worth the extra price. There are sections of the island that are not quite as dreamy, but where beach villas are. The beach in front of the beach villas is usually not as tidy as the one in front of the pool and bar area. In addition, beach villa residents generally have to walk to the pool bar for their food and drinks while we were always there. The beach villas are, by the way, house to house with a distance of approx. 5 - 10 meters from the neighbors.

If you are looking for peace and quiet, you can look for a place under the trees next to the swap school.

We give 4 stars, because there wasn't that big a choice of drinks, which are all inclusive. I would give 5 because I only drank beer (Carlsberg) and a cocktail (Rumbrosia) anyway, but my girlfriend complained;)
