I bought 3 kitchen towels today called Linen Cloth...

I bought 3 kitchen towels today called Linen Cloths. Reading the material it is made of says it is 100% cotton. Are they linen? or is it cotton? I know both plants well and what they produce and should change their name to COTTON CLOTHES. It is not possible to have both names because they are different textiles. These cloths are clearly made of cotton, they should not have the name "linen" so as not to mislead the customers. Thanks.
