Afternoon Tea experience at London Elizabeth Hotel. More than disappointing.
Save your money and go elsewhere.

The room needs decorating, there are cracks in the wall.
You were given a box to select 1 tea bag. (that is it for the duration of your afternoon tea).
The tea stands were delivered to our table, looked nice enough, except the sandwiches were not fresh, they were dry on the outsides - indicating that they had been standing around for a good while. The taster selection of cakes and biscuits was not varied, all sweet and chewy, the shortcake biscuits were soft, the scones were also on the small side.. At no point are you asked if it is ok, or offered any refills.
If you want a proper afternoon tea experience I would suggest The Grosvenor House Hotel or Fortnum & Mason - you will be attended to and will get delicious sandwiches and cakes and leave satisfied with a full tummy.
