The staff are incredibly rude and are simply an embarrassment. We booked the hotel 3 months in advance and when we turned up, we were told that our room was not ready and that 'their system was down'. Whilst trying to get their system sorted, the staff behind the counter, 4 of them, simply laughed between themselves and showed no concern what so ever. They occasionally glanced over at us but made no effort to try and defuse the situation. They then decided that they would take our bags so we could try and enjoy the rest of our time in London. We then returned 8 hours later and the first word they said, before hello or how was your day, was unfortunately. 'Unfortunately, the couple before you took the room key and so we will have to let you in and out of your room when you wish to leave or enter. We were then shown to a classic twin room. We booked, 3 months ago, a classic double room. They couldn't even get that correct. So after returning to the reception to inform them that we did not receive what we ordered, we bumped into another family who were treated poorly. This family had ordered 2 rooms for their family but were informed that there were no rooms available and were then cramped into one room. I then spoke to one of your colleagues- a blonde/fair haired woman to see if I could obtain the contact details for her manager. She was very rude and reluctant to provide these details. I understand that the name of the Director is Paul. Paul, if you are reading this, then please reshuffle your staff and sort out the lackluster customer service. I would also like for you to contact me so we can discuss the exceptionally poor experience that we encountered from the hotel. Not only did the Queen Elizabeth Hotel ruin our mood, it ruined the entire trip. I honestly can't believe how poor this experience was.
