Great lobby and rooms. Food is good but couldn t order rare cooking for our hamburger ... In room dining take some time...approximately 45 minutes.
Bar in the lobby offers great cocktails.
Bed are comfortable and bathroom s shower gel, shampoo and body lotion are top quality. I loved the lavender. However, quality of tea is just average (just classic Lipton) which is disappointing for a JW (I wish they had the same tea brand as the Westin Jakarta). There was no infusion for the evening... They is a nice coffee machine but my friend and I didn t like coffee.
Pool area is also disappointing compared to the pictures. A lot of children, I felt like at the public pool. Chairs are not comfortable and there is no resting area. Steam room and sauna are the changing room. You can t share it with your partner and the area is not really clean. (It is shared with the gym). I didn t like the fact that you have to walk through the gym area to go to the pool. This is clearly not a JW or Marriott standard by any means. I didn t come back to the pool.
Last disappointment was upon check-in. Previously I had a notification on my Bonvoy app that I had been upgraded. But once at the desk the staff member told me that there were not upgrade on his system and did nothing. That s a poor way to treat customers. I was platinum for two years and always felt recognized even the years when I was just Silver or Gold member.
Overall, I still recommend this hotel but do not come for the pool.
