My visit was horrible. I had burnt my hand. When I was seen in the ER at no time did anyone ask me if I take any medication before they started giving me Hydrocodone & a Motrin. At no point when I was in the ER did anyone attempt to clean the chemical off of my hand before they wrapped it up. The nurse that took care of me didn t know what dressing or gauze to use to put over my burns. The nurse asked me to take her scissors out from the back pocket of her scrubs. What started out as a 2nd chemical burn turned into a 3rd degree chemical burn because my hand didn t get cleaned before they started putting an antibacterial ointment on & dressed it up. Again, at no point did anyone ask me if I take any medications before they started writing prescriptions when I was discharged. Absolutely the worst experience.
