My doggies always wait for weekends or holidays to get seriously ill. Coming from Door County I had to go here or proceed to Appleton. Good choice coming here, love the new spacious facility. Appleton has specialists taking appointments but this location purely emergency so figured a shorter wait.
Animals are assessed immediately by a triage nurse and then seen by a vet in the order of the most serious case there at the time. Luna thus had to wait quite a while as the serious cases flooded in. I totally appreciate this and was prepared to wait it out.
My time there totaled about 4 hours, waited for X-ray and bloodwork too but Luna was attended to, problem found and that night when I got home she was eating again!
It s not cheap, $120 to see the vet to start. My bill was almost $600 but not outrageous for quality, immediate service. When you get a pet, this is what you must prepare for; they are your kids.
Would highly recommend but so wish we had
emergency service in Door County - maybe
someday?
