Obviously a young persons' drink joint. We ended up eating here because our original plan fell through and we were hungry, and it looked decent at the front. I had the Union Burger and my wife had the Po' Boy. I knew it was not a good sign when the waiter didn't ask how I wanted my burger. Of course it was well-done, but even that doesn't mean that a burger has to be that dry, but it was dry. Had to add a fair amount of ketchup to help it along. The bacon crossed on top of the burger had the consistency of shoe leather; it tasted okay, but was so chewy that it detracted from the rest of the sandwich. My wife's sandwich was a Po' Boy only in the sense that it contained fried shrimp. Chunks of shrimp, rather than whole shrimps, on a baguette loaf, which is kind of weird for a shrimp sandwich. My fries were very nice, the best part of the meal. The waiter was nice and nicely attentive. I wish him well because, barring unforseen circumstances, we won't be back.
