My girlfriend s family and I ate here a few nights...

My girlfriend s family and I ate here a few nights ago. I was less than impressed for several reasons. For starters a server didn t greet us until about 20 minutes after being seated. That s after asking several random servers walking by us who our server was. It was 95+ degrees outside and we were all pretty parched at that point and would have loved some water. Finally, Diana introduced herself as our server and apologized for the wait. Overall, Diana did a good job as our server once she was identified to tend to us. The food was another story, at least my dish
.
I ordered the brisket with cheese & broccoli and mac and cheese as my sides. Diana recommended the mac and cheese upon my inquiry and said it was one of their most popular sides. When I received my my order it was mashed potatoes instead of the mac & cheese (this was the universe clearly trying to tell me something). I brought this up to Diana who apologized and remedied the situation by swapping out the mashed potatoes for the mac & cheese. I was expecting macaroni with a natural parmesan or cheddar cheese melted on top. This was NOT the case. The mac & cheese was nothing more than Kraft mac and cheese (literally). There was nothing original or unique about it. It was literally the same mac and cheese you get for 26 cents from the grocery store. I m sorry but I m not a fan of man made, processed/powdered cheese (gross). Not to mention it was same disgusting, processed cheese drizzled over the broccoli. My brisket was overcooked and even my brother in-law who was sitting next to me said it looked like jerky.

The one good thing about this restaurant is that it is situated on the Hudson River and you have a nice view. Not much going for this place other than that. I will NOT be returning here again and suggest you stay away as well unless you like chemically enhanced and overcooked food, long waits, and wrong orders.
