It was a great experience for my family and me in Shangri-la Hotel. Check-in was smooth and we were able to have an upgrade to a pool view. It was my daughter and son birthday and the room was decorated with birthday sign and balloons which the kids loved it and so did I.

Food at The Line was great, although it was not the usual buffet style but due to covid-19 this was also another good way to prevent food wastage. Only disappointed that there was no oysters during my visit for dinner.

My kids loved the splash and the buds. However my son injured himself in buds while sliding. The staff there was very quick to respond to his cry and immediately gave aid and calmed him down with ice pack and even a small scoop of chocolate ice cream for both my kids. Very thoughtful and caring staff by the name of Christina Tran. Hope some recognition could be done for Ms Christina Tran.

Room service was excellent as well. Everytime I pick up the phone I was greeted by my surname without needing to state my room number. Loved the service. So far this was the best service I encountered in local hotels.

There was a Dino themed during our stay as well. Maybe it was our lucky day as my son loved dinosaurs. A great way to celebrate his birthday too. Thank you.

Maybe 1 small little issue I had. The parking facilities could be improved. There was no elevators for the car parks. It was difficult for me to carry up the luggage to the main lobby. As I did not have the habbit of unloading my belongings by the drop off point and proceed to the parking lot.

Still, I felt this was my best experience so far in local hotel for family with kids. Thank you for the hospitality.
