This place is beyond horrible. The employees don't care and the hospital itself is only in it for the money. My mom was mistakenly diagnosed with a "psychological problem" when she really just had low sodium due to a previous medical issue. Despite being mentally fine during her stay there, she was initially locked up in in the ward with the most psychologically challenged people in the hospital. It took getting my grandfather, who is a lawyer, involved to get her moved to a different ward. Additionally, there visiting hours are outrages. Only two people in your family can visit a patent at one time for a total of an hour. You can only visit patents a few times a week during select times. If you miss the time slot by literally seconds, they won t even let you for a minute to say hello. They also are outrageously strict on the items they let you bring to the patients and the food there sucks. Atlanta deserves a better mental hospital then this.
