We woke up to the fire alarm going off this mornin...

We woke up to the fire alarm going off this morning. Apparently a circulation fan in our aquarium overloaded and short circuited the power strip it was plugged into, causing a small flame to burn the plug. Even though it was just a small fire that produced very little smoke, the smoke detector did its job and went off, alarming us to the fire. The lady from Pro Security Group that called us to check on things was very kind and concerned for us. They contacted the fire department for us (before calling us) and all went perfectly. I m glad to know that they have my back. Today could have been a lot worse, but because we decided to install an alarm system with them, I will sleep more peacefully knowing that my family is safe and being watched over all hours of the day and night.
