Snow is usually good. while Northstar and heavenly only have a few green and yellow trails opened, this place already have all difficulty levels opened.

Lifts are generally older though and on the long ones the wait seems to be eternity. There is literally nothing else to do at this resort due to its remote location. I have never stayed there over night myself.

For day trips, this resort is a bit closer from the bay areas. Although most if 88 is single lane. So it's really annoying to get stuck behind some super slow driver who think they they own the roads. Many times heavy snow will force road closure as well. So make sure to plan ahead and avoid getting stuck there.
