Review of Grand Hotel, Mackinac Island

Warning!!!!

Warning!!!!
We paid $1,200 for one night. Transportation on the island is horrible to say the least!! The people that work here are very rude and that's putting it lightly!
We waited over 20 minutes for a taxi. Only after I told the bellmen we was staying at the Grand did he decide to call for a taxi for us.
Okay the day went on everything was fine went downtown did some shopping, came back around 8pm to have drink and the people at the bar told us we can not be on the main floor unless you have a suite and tie on.
No one told us that. Beyond embarrassed. Save your money and go somewhere else. This place is a complete joke. We travel 3 to 4 months out of the year and this place is WAY over rated!!
