During my visit to Stonington, I decided to check out the local historical society. I was pleasantly surprised by the extensive collection of artifacts and the expertise of the staff. The exhibits were well-organized and provided a fascinating glimpse into the town's past. The website, stoningtonhistory.org, was also very helpful in providing additional information about the exhibits. I had a great experience and would definitely recommend the Stonington Historical Society to anyone interested in history.
