I subscribed and paid $1200 Mayfield in December 2015 for a three day course to be held in March 2016. I heard nothing from this organization and emailed them 10th Feb 2016 enquiring course times and location. I received an email stating confirmation of this course will be sent mid Feb 2016. week before the course I had still not heard anything and after four phone calls with no return calls finally had an Educator call me for which I was very grateful. I cancelled my attendance as no one could confirm that the course was going ahead. I asked for my $1200 to be returned to my bank account. I have sent subsequent emailed to finance people, educators, called and was told the compliance officer would return my call....I'm still waiting for that to happen. No refund. In total 20 communication contacts have been made to Mayfield with no response and they still have my $1200.
Nurses beware. Today I have tried to phone the organization and all the phones are engaged since 1000 hours this morning. Am I suspicious....You bet. Nurses work hard for every bit of cash they acquire and this company has taken a moderate lump sum of my hard earned money and do not seem to be accountable for this.
Next communication is to the ACCC and to the Consumer Authority.
