I've been to several events organized by an arts council, and I have always been impressed. The artists they feature are incredibly talented, and the events are always well-planned and enjoyable. The venue is usually well-chosen, and the atmosphere is great. The only minor issue I have is that sometimes the events can get crowded, making it difficult to fully appreciate the art. Overall, though, I highly recommend checking out the arts council's events.
