My appointment was cancelled the morning of. I was told that the makeup artist had injured herself the previous night and didn't think anything of it until the morning. 4 days later, Amanda, the owner and head photographer, called me to explain that she would be firing this makeup artist and would send me the Instagram links to other makeup artists that she works with. She mentioned a couple of dates in October that we could reschedule for. 2 weeks later, I have been ghosted by Amanda. She never followed up with me and did not respond to the 2 follow up texts I sent her. Communication has been slow with her since I sent my initial inquiry.

UPDATE: It is worth noting that Amanda blocked me on all forms of social media, including her professional photography account, after leaving this review. Per her social media, she still works with the makeup artist she claims she was going to fire.
