The Library of Congress is one of my favorite land...

The Library of Congress is one of my favorite landmarks in DC. It's right next to the Supreme Court and the US Capitol and has the best fountain in DC out front (It's a mini Trevi fountain in Rome...VERY mini). Like all landmarks in DC, it's free to go inside and view the beautiful architecture and the famous Reading Room. What's also free (and only takes 5-10 minter total on a weekday) is to get a Library of Congress library card giving you access to the Reading Room. It's good for two years and for a lifetime of bragging rights.
