We are a couple travelling to Istanbul and we were looking for a nice restaurant for a memorable moment for my birthday. A Turkish friend recommend us to go to 5 Kat wish is a roof top restaurant with terrace. We had a really warm welcome and The spot is really amazing with a great view on the city and the bosphorus and nice decoration. I recommend to go before the sunset to get the change of colors and the view on the bridges with the lights.
Unfortunately the service has not been as good as the spot, the guy did not speak English very well, they tried to make us buy things that we did not order, we have been waiting one hour for our appetizer and then we had appetizer with the main meal and some was not warm. They also took our bottle of wine off by mistake. The crisps with the hummus were not crispy at all... Well I really think it is not the same all the time as the waiters are really nice but with a little better collaboration between Kitchen and service it could be an amazing place.
