The rates are really high. for a family, we are paying $172/month. For that price, everything should be I excellent shape. It isn't. They have very worn out cardio equipment that desperately needs to be replaced. Good luck finding a decent treadmill. The weigh room is tiny. The only leg press they own is out of order. The worst part for moms is that the general childcare hours doesn't apply to infants. Infants can only stay in childcare until 8 pm, while childcare in general doesn't close until 845 pm. As a result, fulltime working moms who arrive around 7 pm only have an hour to work out before picking up their infant. That is hardly enough time for me to get a complete work out in. Plus, you have to call to reserve a spot for infants.
Checking into the gym is annoying. Every member of the family has to have their own separate member card, even kids and tiny babies. My husband and I sometimes don't go to the gym together, so we can't keep the baby's card on our individual keychains. We have strapped it to his diaper bag, which requires lugging the bag up to the counter to check him in.
On a positive note, they have really nice locker rooms, nice lap and therapy pools, and a reasonably priced spa that is attached to the facility. The basketball court is nice and they have TRX stationss for suspension training.
They also have a great selection of swim classes that we would like to take advantage of whether we are members or not.
Overall, I might end up finding a new gym because I find the childcare inconvenient and the cardio equipment to be unacceptable.
