Generally I don't have too many complaints about the service or the wait time for the standard oil change/maintenance visit. The waiting area is always a comfortable area though it can be noisy as the TV is usually on with no one paying any attention to it. According the Hyundai, my Elantra is due for a very pricey fuel injector cleaning, and I do note a rough idle. I currently don't have the funds for that, but it bothered me some that my service guy smiled knowingly about that and said that particular Elantra (a 2016 model) is notorious for the rough idle as this suggests either something Hyundai should fix or, worse, some sort of planned obsolescence or malfunction built into the car. Another concern is that though the Elantra comes with Hankook Optimo tires with an 5 year/80K mile warranty (1 Year / first 2/32" of wear; Workmanship & Materials Warranty:5 Years / Free replacement first year or 2/32" of wear, then prorated until 2/32" remaining depth), it was not explained why my tires are wearing down faster in the back than the front, and rather than looking into if Hankook should give us new tires at a pro-rated cost, these folks suggest I buy brand new Hankook tires (at an exorbitantly inflated price, of course) instead. My Elantra is 2 years old and has traveled TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND MILES! In my book, 25,000 does not anywhere approximate 80,000 miles, and the recommendation that I replace the tires there and with Hankook feels unacceptable to me.
