I went to the ER for chest pain caused by high blood pressure and they decided that it was just an ache after taking my blood pressure and seeing that it was high and prescribed me 800 mg of Ibuprofen, which drastically raises your blood pressure as is a listed side effect. I never took the prescription because I knew their diagnosis was wrong, but I didn't know that it probably would have killed me until I took half that dose 4 months later after I had started taking meds to control my blood pressure and still had to go back to the hospital.

Here's a tip: If your situation is severe, spend the extra $750-$3000 on an ambulance because aside from screaming in agony in the ER lobby that's the only way to avoid waiting between 4-8 hours to be taken care of.
