the ferries are lacking in passenger seats! compared to ferries in vancouver, canada and the calais/dover, france/england ferries, this was the most inconvenient and uncomfortable experience. the 3+ hours trip between the north and south island made it even more tortuous! insult to injury, there's also not enough lavatories and this crossing was full. unfortunately i have to make another crossing...ugh! hoping for calm seas and a sunny day or this will be even more unpleasant.
