We had a brilliant day out with the family at the Tower of London. So glad I followed reviewers' advice and joined the tour with the very entertaining Beefeater Mr Scott Kelly who had us all enthralled with his tales of the sometimes horrible history of the Tower. But besides the bloody beheadings he also gave us a very thorough guide to all aspects of the Tower of London's buildings as well as some really interesting background to the Yeoman of the Guard. To him I say well done Sir and huzzah! The Crown Jewels were amazing and the armoury and original chapel from the time of William the Conqueror well worth the steps we had to climb. Highly recommended for a sightseeing trip to London.
