I attended the Carnival of the Animals, last Sunday, by Camille Saint Sains.
Beautiful show with the Orchestra Senza Spine of Bologna, directed by Matteo Parmegiani, on pianos Pietro Beltrani and Marco Rizzello, narrating voice and direction by Andrea Acciai, poems by Chiara Carminati. Representation and enchanting performances. Almost perfect acoustics. Courteous dining staff. A fascinating theater in a wonderful city.
