There are tidbits travelers should be aware of before booking here.

Food-
BREAKFAST is only served at 1 restaurant, Flavours, and it is buffet style at a cost of 18.00 Euros. There is no option to order takeaway. The only option for that for breakfast is room service which is costly.
LUNCH is available at any of the restaurants besides Flavours. All the food is average for an American palate except the coffee. The coffee is wonderful! Be warned the burgers are more like meatloaf in between bread buns (the fries were great!). Prices were on the high side, but reasonable for a resort. Burger and fries 16.00 Euros.
DINNER at Flavours tasted like buffet food. Good enough, but not worth the 29.00 Euros per adult (plus the cost of your drink) in my opinion. The Italian restaurant is much better, Aglioglios, and Mokka was great for coffee and a dessert.

*My main gripe/concern/issue with the resort that NO ONE TELLS YOU is there is a campsite literally behind the resort on the countryside view. It is a campsite open to the public with loud campers all day and night. This was an issue and I brought it up to the front desk since we were on our honeymoon and they told me the only thing they could do is to call the police on them if they were loud after 2300. We were not given the option to switch rooms to an oceanview. I deducted 1 star from my rating for this.*

Views
-The countryside and the ocean views are both stunning. Malta is gorgeous and this resort is as well. The private beach is great for families and couples alike. The weather was too cold to stay in the water, but the water was beautifully clear.

Other
-The onsite shop is useful and has the essentials of what you would need. The prices were fair as well. For reference 6 raw eggs were 1.25 Euros.
-There were outdoor (didnt use) pools that were beautiful and large. The indoor heated pool was nice, but wreaked of chlorine. Showering after was necessary.
-The sauna and steam room near the indoor pool were co-ed, spacious, and nice.
-The spa seemed nice and had resort style offerings and prices. 85.00 Euro for 85 minute massage. They even offered botox for the wrinkled traveler lol! We did not use any of the services. They also offer hair cutting and styling services.
-The gym was well maintained and had all the necessary items the workout enthusiast should need at an away gym.

Room
-Normal room with a countryside view (see previous gripe about campers) with a king bed and a patio with chairs and a table. The one thing missing was a trash can. We had a TINY bathroom trash can and then a glass, plastic, and paper recyclable can. When I called to get a trash can they informed me that larger trash bins were for the customers staying in suites only. The closet was spacious and we had plenty of drawers for our clothes. And a safe in the room. There was a small stovetop with cookware and utensils. The room did not have a working AC. Our main phone did not work so we had to use the one in the bathroom. When I told the front desk this they apologized but did not offer to fix it. The bathroom was good sized. It also had 2 sinks which was nice. We had cable tv included.

-Important: a cab ride into town is 30-40 Euros and takes roughly 30 minutes from the resort. The bus ride is 5.00 euros and takes 6 HOURS!! I'm not exaggerating! It stops everywhere and drives slowly. Needless to say we did not use the bus.

Summary:
I would say it was not worth the price. The average cost to stay that I saw on Google was 135.00 Euros. The theme of the resort that I recall most clearly is that everyone was nice and courteous without being helpful. It's a strange phenomenon since I am accustomed to great customer service in America. Maybe it is a difference between countries. They wouldn't give us another room after we complained about the campers, wouldn't give me a trash can, wouldn't replace the phone, and when we HATED our bottle of wine at dinner did not offer to refund or replace. Deduct another star for inferior cust serv.
