I had a car accident on 05/18/2020 I hired Ameer as the lawyer to represent my case due to the person that hit me did not have any insurance and I thought it would be a good decision. At first everyone was very nice to me, they even came to my home to meet me and see the car damage however, shorty after they took my case, they no longer took any of my calls and advised me not to call their office and that they would call me. The office also encouraged me to seek medical and dental treatment from providers that they have previously worked with which they did not help me at all and in fact the dental provider billed me for a retainer that I did not even need all I needed was bridge work and had already told Anna that I was already seeing a dentist to fix my tooth. The orthodontist she sent me to treated me very badly and in addition mocked and made fun of my English since I am primarily Spanish speaking. When I attempted to complain or get assistance from my attorney office and spoke with Anna she did not express any sympathy or understanding of my situation. I had to request to speak to her supervisor Jose Cortez, he was less disrespectful however, he was no help and did not follow through with my case. It is now 11/01/2020 and my case has not been resolved, nor have I received any updates or phone calIs on status from my attorneys office. I still have not fixed my missing tooth which is causing issues with my confidence as well as infections in my mouth. I currently have over $39,128.51 in medical and dental bills with no calls from my attorneys office. TO REITERATE, my attorney helped file a claim with my auto insurance carrier in which my attorney received a claim settlement check for 25,000.00 however I still have not received the dental or medical treatment I need while they keep the payment. Keep in mind that the $25,000.00 doesn't include attorneys fees which it started with 30% and now was increased to 50% with office deduction. I feel that the attorney has not been honest or truthful and has cheated and taken advantage of my good trustingly nature, and now im stuck with extensive bills and still require dental work which will need to be paid out of my pocket.
If someone can please give me advise on how I can resolve these issues please let me know.
