Simply awesome. I go every few years, fantastic historical site and lots of small military museums to see. From medieval to modern. Absolutely full of middle fingers to the foes England has fought. Actual guns from Napoleons very own Grand Battery to Cannons that were fired from Spanish galleons. The White Tower is a highlight of mine, hundreds of weapons and armours from throughout history - one too many spoof designs for my taste - a brilliant day out. Honestly the Crown Jewels is the least interesting thing to see here! Please do take the opportunity to go to Tower Hill before/after your trip to pay respect to the thousands who lost their lives at sea during the wars. As well as an opportunity to stand on the spot where many a poor sod were executed by the royal executioners.
