I am a fairly new patient of Laura Richardson and I am so impressed with her on many different levels.
First, she is genuinely caring and compassionate. You definitely get the feeling she understands where you are coming from. This is especially important with a rather painful issue, which tends to make people feel isolated and alone.
Second, she is so non-judgemental that you feel you can tell her anything without shame. This is huge, especially to me.
Third, Dr. Richardson conveys that she is an expert without making you feel as though you are aren't a critical partner in the equation. I feel as though I am in the best and safest of hands, but also that I have a say in every element of the process.
Fourth, Dr. Richardson gives me courage to face my demons, because she projects a rare kind of inner courage and strength.
I truly cannot say enough great things about this psychologist. I can't believe I found her and I hope you find her, too!
