EVEN THE LOCALS CANT FIND IT! Google Maps knows where it is but not how to locate the well-hidden door. The unlit steps. The exits that are locked. Plot twist : it's on stilts! Up a level, near a reflecting pool, look up for the unlit sign that spells "Barbican" up and down like Japanese writing. Once you actually get in - fabulous acoustics. But so very ugly, so very difficult to find, so unlike any other venue on any of the other four continents upon which I've heard symphony concerts.
