The architectural solution of the complex in the style of "post-modernism" is a three-storey podium, on which there are two connected with each other high-rise 22-storey building. The low-rise part of the complex is divided into four parts, each of which is crowned with a decorative metal construction of a golden hue, covering the elements of engineering communications and wireless communications located on the roof. The same design crowns the high-rise part of the complex, for which the building of the Academy of Sciences has received the nickname "golden brains". The clocks built into the decorative crown of the low-rise part of the complex do not work due to the absence of electronic parts in their mechanism. The low-rise part of the complex housed a concert hall with a capacity of 1.5 thousand seats, a winter garden and a courtyard with a glass gallery leading to the lift lobby of the high-rise. In high-rise buildings are located administrative offices, and on the top floor - an observation deck and a restaurant.
