I have always been big on family activities. For the longest time my husband and I have wanted to train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. When I found Gracie Barra Tucson, I was unsure of how fitting it would be for all of us. Once my husband and I took our first class, we were 100% convinced that this was the perfect fit for our family! The professionalism and knowledge of the staff and camaraderie of the students far exceeded our expectations. Since then, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has been a family activity for us. Also, BJJ has changed the way we as a family do everything from eating to fitness to approaching day to day activities. It has made us better people and has brought my family closer together.

After signing my 5 year old son in the future champions program, his ability to analyze problems and his confidence has increased dramatically. At first I had my reservations about how my son would react to other children and the instruction given by the professor but, the patience and nurturing attitude of the professor is what made my sons first BJJ experience extremely enjoyable. I was thoroughly impressed when I saw the professor's ability to tailor his approach to each individual child based on their personality so that each child learned discipline as well as the technique. He takes his time to ensure each child is properly mentored and molded to be a "Future Champion." And above all, he makes it fun for the kids! I strongly feel signing up at Gracie Barra Tucson was the best decision we have made. So, if you are looking to get fit or boost the confidence of your child or even yourself, I strongly recommend Gracie Barra Tucson. At Gracie Barra Tucson we are all family!!
