I’ve ordered from MyBioSource a few times now and honestly, they’ve been solid for what I needed. They have a massive selection, and I’ve found a few really niche ELISA kits there that I couldn’t get from the bigger suppliers.

Some people complain about the validation, but in my experience, if you just reach out and ask, they’ll send the datasheet or whatever info you need. You do have to do your own digging a bit, but that’s pretty standard when you’re working with less common targets.

Customer service isn’t always instant, but they’ve gotten back to me every time, usually within an hour. I’ve never had an issue they didn’t resolve.

Sure, they’re not as widely cited as brands like Abcam, but not every project needs that level of pedigree. For early-stage work or hard-to-find stuff, they’re actually the best.

If you’re expecting plug-and-play perfection on every product, maybe look elsewhere. But if you’re used to troubleshooting and just need access to a wide range of tools at a decent price, they’re worth checking out.
