i came to lakeview for my addiction to alcohol. much of the staff was great and really cared about what they were doing. the patients were mostly younger and didn't care about staff rules or being there. some staff turned a blind eye to this. this hindered me from getting the best treatment i could. i have stayed sober since going in and will give them credit for that. many things happening there seemed money driven. if you go there, stick with the winners, the people who want to be and are serious about getting sober. make sure you have good insurance. this place is expensive. some activities did not make sense in order to stay sober. many times the patients were moved around and put into the lunchroom with nothing to do because lakeview was short staffed.having said all that they will help you get sober if that's what you want.
