As much as the hype is for this statue, there are other statues and gardens in this place. If you happen to go to this cultural park, be ready to spend at least half a day, or even full day to do justice to your ticket price. The have an array of performances going on hourly, which comes at no additional cost. It's going to be quite a steep walk, but they do also have buggy services at additional cost.

One things that is strange is that, there is no much space in front of the main statue - Garuda Wishnu to take a proper photo. However it looks different in aerial map/design, compared in real. There is no straight entrance/leading directly to the main statue. Probably it's part of the design and not accomplished yet. So that is a bit of disappointment. If you would like to get a good photo of the statue with yourself, it is somewhere after you come down after Plaza Garuda, on your left. There are few tiny entrances, and that is where the right spot is.

You can go up to the main statue, but you cant get a good photo, unless you have some wide lens camera or drone. They also do have a lot of commercial properties inside such as, dining, souvenir shop and etc. You can probably spend a whole day or at least half a day there.
