Horrible experience!!! I was with my son once, he had 42,5 fever, continues vomiting, but nobody cares, I had to wait almost 3 hours, then the dr didn't make a blood test to see if he has infection in his blood, he said that he need to take the antibiotic and that's it! After I had this unprofessional opinion from this dr and I've stay almost 3 hours, I was going again to the reception, I said that I am not satisfied about this dr and how he treat my son, then I ask for the second opinion from another dr! I've stay again 5 hour and at 2 o'clock on night another dr saw my son, and he made the blood test to see if he has infection in his blood, and unfortunately he had serious infection in blood, and he write another antibiotic plus he had perfusion! So parents, of you are not satisfied about the dr and you have seriously doubts, you have 2 options, or to go to a better hospital(check the reviews) or ask for another dr opinion, but with obvious and strong arguments.
And two nights ago I had horrible pain and health problem, and the GP says to go to emergency to Northwick hospital to make a scan! I could not stay on my legs because of the pain, but the receptionist was chatting with her colleagues and she said Sorry, just one minute! And after 5 minutes she came back to say Now tell me, please!.... Atfer 2 hours that I stay at the waiting list, the dr says that I don't need a scan, it's fine, we just need to change the antibiotic, but he didn't make an antibiogram to see what kind of antibiotic my bacteria needs! And I insist to make the scan because my GP says that, and he said: Look I am the dr, I know better! If you want a scan go to a private dr! ... What a doctor attitude is that??!! We pay in every year thousands and lots of money on taxes and I don't deserve a scan, that my GP says to do it, and also my pain there is big, and all my symptoms indicate a scan! Everybody deserves his rights! I'm definitely not going at Northwick Hospital never, ever! And I don't recommend it, if you have the possibility to go at a better hospital, do it!
