Great if your wanting to drive to the south island...

Great if your wanting to drive to the south island and are in no rush to get there. Mother nature can be unpredictable and show its fury in cook strait but the sounds are world class. Any plan to shift the ferry terminal to grassmare just to save 45 minutes would be the death knell to the interislander.
