I booked a holiday as I was reassured by their terms, being a family company and potential refund if holiday was cancelled due to covid. They cancelled my holiday one week after booking it as the cottage was withdrawn by the owner. Nothing to do with Covid. I was sent an email with an evoucher and not refunded my deposit. You can t get anyone on the phone- at one point I had three phones calling them for an hour. I did an online enquiry asking for a refund and over a month later was told they have given me a voucher. Another written enquiry with no response, I raised a dispute through my credit card to try and get my money back and continued to call. I learnt today I have finally received my deposit back 2 months later and after literally hours of my time and considerable angst in trying to sort it out.
It has not only put me off from ever using them but from using other UK cottage companies if you get treated like this.
