Wes Mahan Review of Multnomah university

In the early 70's I was a fresh grad of Multnomah (School of the Bible) with a ThB. I went on to serve as a missionary in Europe in Europe for 7+ years. I loved Jesus with all my heart. But I gave up my faith 9 years ago at the age of 60. After 46 years as an evangelical, I just could not believe any more that a loving God would torture nice people for eternity, just because they did not believe my God or my Jesus. The last 9 years since I gave up belief in God have been, far and away, the happiest and most satisfying of my life.
So I encourage anyone who goes to MU, to engage your mind. Ask yourself if what you've been told was true all your life is REALLY the ultimate truth. Demand evidence. Don't automatically believe that the Bible is the inerrant, infallible Word of God. Because it isn't. It is full of errors, contradictions, and the most unspeakable genocide, misogyny, xenophobia, and homophobia you will find anywhere. I could go on and on. But just believe me when I say, don't waste a lifetime being one of the sheep. Think for yourself, independently. Send me a message through Google if you want to know more about what I went through.
